EASY HOMEMADE NATURAL DOG TREAT RECIPE FOR EASTER

Published date: 07 April 2022

As Easter approaches, we look forward to enjoying time with our furry friends and of course indulging in some cheeky chocolate eggs.

Whilst Easter Eggs aren’t suitable for our pets that doesn’t mean they should miss out on all the fun. Every pup deserves a special and safe Easter treat and what better to use than their favourite food?

We’ve been experimenting in the kitchen and created an easy, natural Easter mould treat recipe. All you need is your dog's favourite Fresh Pressed™ and a silicone mould to pour the mixture in.

Step 1:

Add 1-part Tribal pellets to 1.5 parts hot (but not boiling) water and let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes. If you wish to make a slightly thinner paste, switch to a higher ratio of water. Pro Tip- Once you boil the kettle, let it sit for 30 seconds or until the water is no longer boiling, this is the perfect temperature to add to your Tribal pellets.

Step 2:

Flex your baking muscles and give the mixture a good and thorough stir! You are looking for a smooth and sticky consistency. If your pooch has been well behaved, then maybe they could lick the spoon afterwards…

Step 3:

Pour the yummy mixture into your chosen mould, ready to be frozen!

Step 4:

This step will require a bit of patience from your furry friend. Place the silicone mould into the freezer for approximately 2-3 hours. Larger moulds may require a little longer.

Step 5:

Remove your pups new tasty Tribal Easter treat and let them get stuck in! This is a fabulous way to make meals more fun, slow down their eating and help cool down your pooch in hot weather.
